| Cottage Review:
On arriving at the Round House, we were wowed by the views and the property. A beautiful and quirky house nestled on a hill within 10 minutes walk from Church Stretton. The property was well equipped and clean and had plenty of amenities. The welcome tray and bbq basket were a lovely touch. The owner was great with communications as was the site we booked through. We loved sitting at the inside table with the bi-fold doors open to admire the view. The hot tub and bbq were great to get us out in the garden. Nearby Ludlow and Shrewsbury worth a visit, as well as a walk in Carding Mill Valley. In Church Stretton there is an indian and aThai restaurant, and a chinese take away, chip shop and pizza shop if looking for a break from cooking. Would recommend food in the Buck's Head too. We had a comfortable and relaxing stay at the Round House and we were sorry to be leaving. |
