Cottage Review:

Rose Cottage is a cosy, comfortable cottage. It is very well equipped, utensils , pans etc. All sorts of towels, both bath and for washing up were provided. Comfortable bed with a large duvet, so we each had enough duvet and to spare. Everything is in working order, it heats up quickly. On arrival we met with the owners, Jane and Andy, who were very friendly. They also provided artists materials, to be used at no extra cost. A piano and guitar are also available, though we do not play, it gives a nice touch.

Haworth itself is a place worth visiting, within minutes either in town or on the moors. It's well accessible by bus, busstop round the corner , and so is the chippy. Very quiet area.

All in all, we felt at home immediately, really home away from home.

And, on arrival the prosecco sat waiting in the fridge and a bunch of welcoming flowers were on the kitchen table.

Cottage Review:

Just returned from a week's break at the exceptional Rose Cottage, a wonderfully tranquil haven nestled in Haworth's historical heart.

Cosy, clean, comfortable yet practical, functional and peaceful, the cottage is a muse to rediscover your inner creativity. Instead of TV, there's musical instruments, artist's materials and games and you're encouraged by the lovely owners - Jane and Andy - to use them in abundance. Surrounded by Jane's alluring, original work on the walls and the beautifully tuned and toned piano it's easy to get inspired in front of the roaring log fire. Just like old times.

Outside the front door, you're surrounded by more 'old times', the cottage is snuggled in a quiet area of traditional weavers' dwellings but only a short stroll to the bottom of the bustling Main Street. Turn right and a few strides takes you to the moors, turn left down the street and you're soon at the lovely Haworth Old Hall hostelry and the bottom of the cobbled hill.

It's a great base for exploring the area, and after a long day out the kitchen is great for eating in if you wish, with everything you need to cook. The oven is dead easy to use - set the temperature and the function, then turn the Timer to set the cooking time - the Timer turns the oven on :)

End the day with a luxurious soak in the footed, freestanding Victorian bath. We did - it was fab - make sure you take bubble bath and bath salts to ease tired limbs ready for tomorrow.

Highly recommended - book with confidence. Jane and Andy are local and on hand to help at all times.

Cottage Review:

Lovely cottage but not worth the premium price 600 pound for 1 week and only sleeps 2!!! Kitchen very unpractical took 45 minutes just to work out how to turn the oven on! No freezer box in fridge and no iron. Cloths left to clean dishes with were no good didn't really clean the dishes effectively. Sheets hanging on walls to hide peeling wallpaper!!! Paid a lot less before for a better quality of property with more rooms
