| Cottage Review:
I did hesitate booking the cottage because of the comments but I did go ahead. 1. The parking. 2. The Bathroom. Just leave the Bentley at home and bring your old car. My husband is a ex Army HGV driver and he found it difficult to master the lane to the cottage we did do it and parked in the drive with great difficulty . I surgest using the public car park in town and walk up if you haven't a lot of luggage. Bathroom. Water very difficult to control through shower head. Apart from this cottage quite comfortable with good views. Linda. Wiltshire |

What a low review value:1.12 out of 5. Not surprised; read on. Have you noticed that one cannot easily leave tripadvisor or google reviews for cottages managed by sykes? Regarding the expensive cottage we rented: 1) we had been given incorrect key code so after 8 hour journey could not enter. 2) upon entering, eventually, cleanliness was low level (being polite there); no airing ( this was end of july prior to 2019 ago and we were first visitors in peak season?.. we should have smelled a rat... first visitors in july in Cornwall in Looe ?!) 3) Broadband |

| Cottage Review:
We were the first guests to arrive post covid 19 lockdown restrictions. While the view was lovely, the cottage left a lot to be desired and was cold and uninviting. The pictures and the reality were two very different scenarios. The main oven was broken and we couldn?t use it during our stay. The cottage smelt damp and stale with not even so much as a simple hand soap in the bathroom. All the clocks had not even been set to the correct time - just a general level of disinterest by the owners. Candle holders all left empty and no basket with firewood. Patio |
