Description of the holiday cottage

Promenade View in Crompton in the Peak District National Park is a beutifully restored Grade 11 listed building built under Sir Richard Arkwright and is a short walk into the centre of Cromford with a range of pubs and restaurants in a pretty location. The property has been sympathetially developed to retain many of the original features including  oak beams and stonework throughout the cottage.

There is a cosy living room with modern tv, comfortable seating and log burner, ideal for the colder months and full of character. The modern kitchen is well equiped with all of the appliances that you need and there is a dining area with table and chairs seating four people. Upstairs, there is a spacious double bedroom with plenty of storage space and a good sized twin bedroom, all set under the high eaves of the building. The bathroom has a free standing bath and shower, set in a delightful room with exposed stonework and brimming with character. There is a nice outdoor area with wood store and seating, a little sun trap in the warmer months!

Promenade View is perfect for a family of four or couples that want to share and explore this amazing part of Derbyshire. Matlock Bath is within walking distance of the property as are Cromford Mills and Black Rocks. The location is perfect with so much to see and do within a short drive or just on foot. The area is heaven for walkers so bring your boots and enjoy the great ourdoors and all that this area of the Peak District has to offer.
