| Cottage Review:
Can not fault this little gem of a cottage. Down a side street with reserved parking and no traffic as a dead end but literally a minutes walk into the heart of the harbour. By the main car park but not a peep of noise. Pretty frontage and when you step inside it?s immaculate and very nicely decorated. Large well stocked kitchen and cosy lounge dinner. Small but very private garden with a brook at the bottom. 3 good sized double bedrooms and family bathroom but extra shower room downstairs. Only let down is that if 6 staying there isn?t enough seating for all in the evening on the L shaped sofa as no separate armchairs but that is remedied by going to the many bars and restaurants within a very short distance. Parking is directly opposite the front door and limited to 1 and at a push 2 cars. Local beach is pebble but sheltered and on a calm day great for a swim but deepens quickly. Asda, Tescos and Lidls all within a mile or two and ideally placed for all that Cornwall has to offer. Eden Project a 10 minute drive. We did Looe, St Ives, Mevagissy and Falmouth (via the ferry from St Mawes) and other places too without hassle and no traffic issues due to visiting during school term. Had a week with 3 adults staying and will definitely recommend as we will come back. Still giving a 5 star rating as although sleep 6, 4 is ideal. |
