Disappointing. On arrival it was a sunny day so we got the cases in and went into garden to have a rest and a glass of wine. The table and chairs were under a tree covered in bird poo and debris, we had to clean them before we could enjoy a rest and a glass of wine..The garden was full of weeds and unkept. The tele was so small, out fault we never picked it up when booking. Trying to watch tennis and England playing was not pleasant. All pubs were booked up. The remote was broken, and the owner said it had been for months . We managed to get it to work by using sellotape to hold it together. Would rather have had a bigger tele than a dishwasher which we never used. Bedding was clean but the cottage overall cleanliness was not great, really needs some TLC.The plug near the tele was filthy so were the bedroom switches.Stairs Carpet edge was black, looked like it had been cleaned over the years but the muck was left on the edge. The bedroom drawers were full of spare towels and bedding. We put these in the airing cupboard so we could put our cloths in the draws. Under the beds was covered in fluff and bits of debris, not been moved for a while.Shame, this could be a lovely cottage but needs a good clean and some TLC.Oh towels were clean but hard. It certainly looks bigger in the photos than it actually is.We still had a good time, Stratford is beautiful and well worth a visit.

We had a sad stay here - we were a family of four, two adults and two small kids. The house was too small for a family. Much better suited to a couple or two friends.

While on first look the property was nice (maybe we were jet lagged!) the stay was hindered by a number of factors.

The kitchen table makes it difficult for anyone not cooking/washing up to be in there - you kind of need to sit at the table to be out of the way.

The bathroom, although 'renovated' was awful and fell far below my standards. It was a super bad diy experiment! It smelt damp and n

The property was very clean, well maintained and with enough furniture and gadgets to make your stay very pleasurable. It was in a great position, an easy walk straight into the center of Stratfod-upon-avon and all the attractions of the town. Although the property is small, it is certainly large enough for a family of four. The only possible problem is the parking, although we were able to park along the street in front of the property most of the time, but there were times when it was necessary to park in adjourning streets.
