in the heart of Kingsand, 50 yards from the beach and two pubs, a dear little 17th cent. fisherman's cottage on three floors, cheek by jowl with its sister cottages. From the donkey-width lane, a stable door (5'8" lintel) to cosy, very attractive, beamed (5'10") living/dining/kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave) with oak floor/rug and inglenook ('living flameelectric fire). Original spiral staircase up into second living room with futon (for alternative sleeping or one school-age child), TV and pine floor/rug; shower-room (suite). More original spiral stairs up into pretty, attic double bedroom with TV and a glimpse of wooded hills across ancient roof-tops. A smashing cottage, but not suitable for toddlers or anyone with mobility problems. No smoking. Loading/unloading from 30 yards distance car park 150 yards.

Cottage had real charm, was well equipped and could not have been in a better location. Had a great break and hope to return in the near future. |

We are regular visitors to Kingsand and we loved the cottage. Perfect for us as a couple, the cottage had many quaint features and was fitted to a very high standard. |

The holiday location was idylic. The parking took some getting used to. A brief explanation of the parking arrangements inside the village would help and a comparison to the council car park costs as well. |
