| Cottage Review:
Overall the apartment isn?t bad. However, it it very dated and not portrayed in the photos as it is in person. First of all you have to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment, which isn?t mentioned in the description, these stairs also have no lighting what so ever at night time, which makes it very dangerous. The parking is on Eliot gardens, which isn?t clearly stated and the only reason I knew where to park was someone gave proper instructions on another review. The balcony needs some paint and new furniture as the furniture in the photos is rusty and old and covered in cobwebs. All of the markings on the hobs have been wiped off and when we tried to make dinner, had no idea how to use it as their is no instructions or markings, so wasted money on dinner. If you?re looking to order dominoes from the shop down the road, don?t bother and read the reviews first, 3 hours late and no refunds accepted. The bathroom is also in a state of needing decorating as the tiles are brown and the water pressure is appalling to say the least. If I was being very picky I?d also say the living room needs a re-think as sitting someone next to a 20 inch television facing the kitchen, isn?t necessarily practical. I would also like to point out that if you have never been to Newquay before and are expecting a nice little beach town, like I was, then don?t bother staying in Newquay because it is like the Blackpool of Cornwall, we drove 40 minutes away from Newquay everyday to see what we was expecting. Wouldn?t stay in Newquay again and if I did I wouldn?t stay at palm view as the price and what you get just isn?t up to standards. |
