| Cottage Review:
We stayed at Paddock Barn for a week in Summer. It was the perfect location for a stay in the Cotswolds. The house has been refurbished to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are spacious and beds are so comfortable it?s difficult to get out of them in the mornings! Master bedroom has an en suite with a roll top bath with a lovely view out the window and walk in shower. The huge kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. We enjoyed dining outside on the large patio too. There was a lovely farm shop and cafe close by (Burton farm shop) which makes a great breakfast and lunch with some farm animals to entertain children. There is the added benefit of a country pub next door where we enjoyed a Sunday lunch. Would highly recommend to anyone planning a visit to the area. Good access to Bath and Bristol by car for day trips but I think Castle Combe itself is the nicest place we?ve been to in England! |
