Description of the self catering property

Nirvana is a popular holiday home in the centre of Kingsand in south Cornwall that sleeps up to 9 people and has four bedrooms. Nirvana is a beautifully renovated grade 2 listed building being a Georgian house in one of the finest locations in Kingsand, a very popular holiday cottage in a very popular holiday location.

The downstairs living areas are of an open plan style and are very well furnished complete with a superb wall mounted flatscreen TV surrounded by sofas and sofa chairs. There is a living room that has a TV and wood burner inset into the fireplace and a feature coffee table with gorgeous views from window. The dining area has a large wooden table with seating for eight people that is accessed directly from the kitchen. The kitchen at Nirvana is modern and well equipped with a large double range electric oven and electric hob as well as microwave oven. There is also a dishwasher and fridge freezer and all of the utensils that you will require. At the back of the kitchen, doors open out onto the private courtyard that leads up to a patio with its own table and chairs and a barbecue for you to use.

There are 4 bedrooms at Nirvana in Kingsand, on the first floor you will find a double bedroom with its own ensuite shower room. A second double bedroom with views from the window and a further twin bedroom complete with period fireplace. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor complete with a decent sized bath and a shower over the bath. On the second floor, there is a large and roomy double bedroom, again with a feature period fireplace and a gorgeous ensuite bathroom.

If you are a lover of Kingsand, then Nirvana is an ideal holiday cottage in a fantastic location that exudes character and has fantastic views.

Cottage Review:   The house was excellent and the little touches added by the owner made us feel very much at home. It is less than a minute walk to the beach which is down a slight slope, this was great for morning drinks while watching the sunrise, it is also a short walk to the nearest shop and the pub landlords are very friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that the twin room is exceptionally cold during the night, by the end of our stay the cold room made them suffer from colds and sore throats which wasn't a good ending to our holiday away.
