Cottage Review: This is a great property, located in a beautiful area only 2 minutes by boat from the Falmouth high street, this is the cleanest holiday propety we ever been. I definately recomend.

Cottage Review: Myrtle Cottage was beautiful inside and immaculately decorated and very clean. The owners were very helpful bringing us extra logs when needed and giving directions. Flushing is very pretty and the people there were friendly too especially at the 'Seven Stars' pub just round the corner where the the food was great. The only drawback was the lack of parking which in high season would probably be more of a problem and lack of adequate outside space.

Cottage Review: Flushing village is a little haven with a mix of locals and newbie’s. A very friendly village with an excellent eating house called the Royal Standard. Would definitely return but would book a cottage overlooking the water as the views are wonderful.

Cottage Review: Another perfect holiday cottage booked through Helpful Holidays - so good that I am almost reluctant to recommend you to friends in case all the cottages get too booked up !! Seriously though, as ever your service is excellent - right from your user-friendly website; customer service ( see above) and the cottage itself which was truly first class.

Cottage Review: What a fabulous place. We have had a wonderful week, especially taking into account we had doubts on arrival having got set in our ways always going to the North Coast area. The village people are so welcoming and it was good to have 2 pubs in the village and a restaurant, so much choice with having to take the car! Sue and Roger are very helpful and friendly nothing is too much trouble. The village of Mylor Bridge has a butcher 2 shops and a Post Office all of which we used and can recommend. Finally, the area was wonderful and we are sold on exploring more and returning to do the walks we ran out of time for. We will definitely stay at Myrtle Cottage again if possible but will return to Flushing.

Cottage Review: Really enjoyed our stay in Flushing which is situated in a great location on the River Fal with easy access across to Falmouth on the little ferry. Myrtle Cottage was lovely. Nicely furnished - cosy but modern and just round the corner from 2 great local pubs.

Cottage Review: Excellent location, beautiful cottage. Village superb, very freindly local people, made us feel part of the community. I would most certainly stay in Flushing again and recommend it to family and friends. The weather was fantastic which was a bonus. Well organised company. Everything fully explained in plain English. Thankyou

Cottage Review: This cottage was absolutely delightful, the setting was very picturesque and unspoilt. Locals were friendly and the pub, "The 5 Pilchards" (just a 30 second walk away) was very welcoming and cosy, serving lovely home cooked food, piping hot, and a great choice of menu. The service was excellent, and dogs were made welcome too! What more could you ask for?!

Cottage Review: Myrtle Cottage is cosy, comfortable and extremely well-equipped. It's situation just a stone's throw from the beach is idyllic; our little dog loved her early morning runs on the beach and our eight year old daughter enjoyed the rockpools. An oasis of calm!

Cottage Review: It has been a great experience booking a cottage with helpful holidays. A friend told us to look on the site when we could not find a cottage in cornwall. The cottage was Fantastic and the location was wonderful. I think next time we want a cottage we will go straight to helpful holidays.

Cottage Review: It was very welcoming to arrive to a cake baked by the owner and milk in the fridge, particularly as there is no shop in the village. A very comfortable cottage in a lovely quiet lane - well equipped and is ideally situated for walks along the coastal path. Good pub only 100 yards away, but it's advisable to reserve a table earlier in the day if you want to eat there.

Cottage Review: The cottage was beautiful and a stone's throw from the beach which was great. The owner was very helpful, popped in to see us the morning after we arrived and had even baked us a cake! Our 18 month old was safe to toddle around to his hearts content as traffic was minimal. Porthalow is an oasis of calm and we thoroughly enjoyed or escape from modern life - no phone signal - bliss!!
