Description of the holiday cottage

Main beach - about a 10 minute walk. Located directly beside the picturesque old harbour close to Brewers Quay in Weymouth are Buccaneer Cottage and its sister cottage Mutiny House. Both properties have excellent views of the harbour allowing you to relax in the comfort of your armchair and watch the ever changing scene. Fishing boats and luxury yachts pass right in front of you to find their moorings or to pass under the old town bridge which lifts and falls to allow yachts to enter the inner marina. Hope Square where you will find a variety of restaurants and tea rooms along with the Brewers Quay building a conversion now housing a unique and interesting collection of shops is only a very short stroll away. The main beach with its golden sands and shallow waters is within easy walking distance or you may choose to take the charming row boat ferry and cross the harbour to the beach directly. The town centre with its array of high street shops, nine screen cinema and ten pin bowling is also just a short walk along the harbour and across the town bridge. Within a five minute walk you can reach Newton's Cove, a small sheltered beauty spot with rock pools ideal for children to explore and the adjacent Nothe Fort gardens; the perfect location for a picnic. Mutiny House Accommodation: Bedroom 1, double bed with en-suite shower, hand basin and toilet. Bedroom 2, twin single beds with extra pull out 2'6" bed. Small snug room. Bathroom with bath, hand basin and toilet. 1st Floor: Large lounge / diner with adjoining kitchen with breakfast bar - all with views over harbour. Bedroom 3, double bed and en-suite shower in the room. Cloakroom with toilet and hand basin accessed from the landing.
