Description of the self catering
Martin Cottage is a modern cottage based on a small farmstead on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, sleeping four lucky guests. The cottage is complete with high-quality furnishings in the sociable open-plan kitchen and living space. A well-equipped kitchen with the essential appliances needed to cook meals for the family is at one end of the room. Feast on meals at the breakfast bar with plenty of seating for four guests. In the sitting area, you’ll find a wood burner, comfy sofas and a TV for evening entertainment after the sun has gone down. Upstairs, you’ll find two well-appointed bedrooms with modern ensuites with robes. A bubbling hot tub awaits you after a long countryside walk allowing you to relax and enjoy the views from the garden all year round. Patio furniture is also available for al fresco dining during the summer. Pocklington is a bustling local town, with a selection of shops, cafés and delis within a mile of the cottage. Explore the nearby walking and cycling routes that are right on your doorstep and only half an hour away from the cottage is historical York.
