Set amidst the rolling green landscape of the South Downs National Park, Maple Lodge offers the chance to escape to the country whilst enjoying the creature comforts that make a huge difference. This two bedroom lodge sleeps four and makes the perfect base for those of you keen to enjoy the ancient woodlands and rolling fields that make up one of the country’s most treasured national parks. Start each day by enjoying the views through the living area’s floor to ceiling windows with your morning coffee, and if you step outside onto the furnished terrace you’ll be able to enjoy the tranquillity before a busy day exploring. The open plan design of the living, kitchen and dining space make this lodge a spacious choice for groups of friends or a family holiday. Spend your days exploring your surroundings or during the winter months cuddle up on the sofa by the crackling fire and watch the weather do its worst. Maple Lodge has a peaceful setting right in the heart of the South Downs National Park, and it makes an idyllic rural retreat from day to day life. Set on a 160 kilometre National Trail, the lodge makes just the base for walkers keen to stretch their legs and see as much of the scenery as possible, and with carpets of bluebells and meadows of wildflowers as a backdrop depending on the season, every walk is one to remember. Who knows…you may even spot a red kite soaring high above. There is so much to do and see in this area, from walking, cycling or horse riding across the Downs, exploring wildlife in the wetlands, visiting one of the many heritage sites to experiencing opera at the world famous Glyndebourne.
