A few steps from the front door is the old harbour where you can while away a lazy afternoon watching the fishing boats and yachts come and go or letting the children try their hand at teasing a crab line. In and around Brewers Quay is an array of restaurants, coffee houses and pubs, perfect for trying our freshly caught sea food or locally brewed beer. The town centre with its shops, bowling and cinema is a leisurely stroll away, as is the long and sandy main beach with its shallow bathing waters. Pretty Newton's Cove, the Nothe Fort and gardens with its coastal walk is nearby; a favourite with the locals and those seeking a quieter location. Louisa Cottage has been transformed by its current owners using a palette of neutral colours and stylish fittings to be a welcoming and comfortable retreat excellently located for all the amenities this historic town has to offer.Best Features
