| Cottage Review:
As soon as we walked into lady pond, there were at least 7 flies in the kitchen/ opening space. We opened a window to let them out for the duration of our stay but they never left. The beds were comfy and the space itself was clean and spacious. The first night, we went in the hot tub and it was nice. The hot tub is outside and round the corner so it is a little out of the way. On our second day, we wanted to go into the hot tub at around 2pm and the hot tub would just not heat up. It was cold water. The hot tub was on all night and so was the cover. We searched everywhere inside for a manual on the hot tub but there literally was nothing. Absolutely nothing. We called a few of the numbers that were provided for us in another booklet and on our email and they didn?t pick up. After an hour, we drove out 5 mins away so we could get signal because we thought it would be that (as the signal is quite bad but the wi-fi is ok) and they still didn?t answer. Eventually we got through and she said she will call the owner and enquire about why the hot tub is cold. She never called us back after this. We rang at least a dozen times after that during the day and absolutely nothing. Shocking service and they really don?t care. You?d think if people were staying at your lodge, you?d at least pick up a phone call if things were going wrong at your retreat. Avoid this place at all costs if you?re coming for the hot tub because it was a nightmare and ruined the entire bachelorette party. |
