Description of the self catering property

Kestrel lodge is located in the main barn building on the converted farm of Kingfisher Barn. The beautiful high beamed ceiling and large windows create an openness in the living area, flooding the lodge with natural light and softening the distinction between the outside and in. Bold patterns and bright colours introduce a modern touch, complimenting the original wood and stone features of the traditional barn building. With a patio on both sides of the barn and ample lawn space, you can really make the most of the fresh air and glorious surroundings.

Kestrel lodge can sleep up to 8 guests across 4 bedrooms, each can be arranged with either twin single beds or one king size bed. Kestrel lodge has three bedrooms, one with an en suite, on the ground floor, alongside the spacious wet room, kitchen and open plan living area. With the fourth bedroom and en suite upstairs, Kestrel has plenty space for everyone to have a relaxing stay. The downstairs bedrooms and the wet room are equipped with ceiling tracking for the use of a hoist and the open layout of the lodge is great for those with limited mobility and wheelchair users.  Kestrel lodge is pet friendly, please let us know in advance if you're bringing your four-legged friend!

Kingfisher Barn enjoys a prime position just a short stroll from the River Thames and the historic market town of Abingdon, with Oxford only eight miles away (excellent bus links available).
