Description of the self catering
in St Mabyn, 400 yards from the friendly pub, a south-facing, detached, probably early 19th cent. cob/stone cottage at the end of a no through lane, with a pretty, enclosed garden (table/chairs, small unfenced wildlife pond). Inside, comfy and homely with some 5'6" lintels and ceiling beams. Hall (for coats/boots) with slate floor; living room with big inglenook (woodburner) and door to garden; dining room through to fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, gas cooker). Downstairs loo (washbasin). Open tread steepish stairs up to three bedrooms a double (5bed), a twin and a single, all with floorboards/rugs. Bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). No smoking. Comfy cottage, quiet and private.Sleeps: from 0 to 5
