Description of the cottage holiday

Kelly Green Mill is a rural holiday cottage that is approximately two miles from 2 miles from St Tudy and St Kew in Cornwall and 10 miles from the beaches of Rock and Polzeath. Kelly Green Mill is a large detached house, 300 yards back from a pretty, wooded stretch of the A39. It is a splendid re-build of an old mill and is surrounded by 1 and a half acres of mostly lawned, enclosed garden. Beyond, there are gentle views of cattle-grazed meadows. There are 100 acres of private woodland (including river) available for you to roam, and more than a mile of river where you can tiddler fish (occasional sea trout). It is part of the Lamellen Estate. Inside Kelly Green Mill near St Tudy, all smart, of excellent quality, family-friendly and beautifully thought through with fine, historical botanical and wildlife prints. Front door into open-plan living/dining/fitted kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, gas range-style cooker with double oven/6 burners) with woodburner, TV/DVD and glazed doors to patio (table/chairs) and garden. Utility room with loo, washing machine and tumble drier. Five steps down to games room (pool table, iPod dock) with door to garden, and snug/children's play den (TV/DVD). From hall, stairs (top stairgate) up to five bedrooms including two double bedrooms with large beds and with en suite bathrooms (suites, showers over baths) and TV, a twin (zip-linkable to 6' double) with TV and separate bathroom (suite, shower over bath); 5 steps down to a suite of double bedroom with a zip-linked bed or that can be converted to a twin with TV, single bedroom (can also accommodate cot or z-bed) and shower-room (suite).
