| Cottage Review:
Perfect location with numerous walks without the need of a car. A very pretty village with small shop, tea shops, pub and restaurant. A short walk to Stoney Middleton and you'll find a good fish and chip shop. The property is over two floors and approached by a flight of stairs leading to the first floor entrance. The property was very comfortable and warm. However, there were several issues that hadn't been resolved of which the owner was aware of. The front door lock was difficult to manage. | Cottage Review:
We stayed at Jay's Nest for a weekend (Friday - Sunday). It was really comfortable and had everything we needed (aside from the usual consumables). The towels and bed linen were clean and soft. It was easy to follow the instructions to get access. There was a pub a short (3-4 minutes) walk away which is handy if you arrive later in the day and need a bite to eat (we didn't eat there but went there for a drink and it was very welcoming). I'd definitely return to Jay's Nest again for a visit to the Peak District. |

| Cottage Review:
This is a nice warm and very very clean . Lots of nice fluffy towels and really well equipped with full size fridge freezer dishwasher (which we did not use) and washing machine. Good quality pans ect .No welcome pack but teabags coffee and a pint of milk was helpful.Also more teatowels would be good for people like us who ate main meals out so was not worth putting dishwasher on. We did have a problem with apartment door lock,which a kindly niebour helped us with,and have made owner aware so think this will not be a issue in future. |
