Description of the holiday cottage
Honeysuckle Cottage is a delightful cottage providing an excellent standard of contemporary styled holiday accommodation. Located at the end of a quiet lane and just a gentle stroll from the harbour and a variety of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants in Seahouses. The colourful harbour is the focal point of this traditional fishing village. During the summer boats sail regularly taking eager visitors out to the Farne Islands hoping to catch a glimpse of the grey seals and the vast seabird colonies, including the comical Puffins that inhabit the islands. Some of the boats land on the islands allowing people time to experience the flora and forna in close proximity. There are numerous golf courses in the area with an 18 hole links course on the edge of Seahouses. Guests are spoilt for choice when planning daily excursions. Our top 5 suggestions would be outings to the magical castle at Alnwick where the Harry Potter movies were filmed, Alnwick Garden, Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne or simply take a picnic to spend the day on one of several sandy beaches. Fishing, sailing, golf, horse riding, walking and cycling all available locally.Best Features
