**Review of High Park House, Helston** **Beautiful Accommodation with an Unexpected Wake-Up Call** During our recent visit, we stayed at High Park House, which was absolutely beautiful. The property provided all the comforts we could have hoped for, featuring tasteful décor and well-equipped facilities that made us feel right at home. However, one challenging aspect of our stay was the presence of nearby cockerels. Each morning, we were awakened very early—around 4 a.m.—by their persistent crowing. While we appreciate the charm of countryside life and indeed live in the countryside ourselves, these early wake-up calls were quite disruptive and affected our sleep during the trip. Unfortunately, our experience was further marred when we were charged £160 for allegedly damaging a hinge on an icebox in the integrated freezer—an item we never touched during our stay. This unexpected charge left us disappointed, as we found it unjustified, and it has left a sour taste in our mouths. Overall, if you are an early riser or don’t mind a rustic alarm clock, you will likely enjoy this lovely accommodation. However, for those who are sensitive to noise or value a lie-in, it might be worth considering bringing earplugs. |

| Cottage Review:
Spacious,secluded house set in a large,safe garden. Excellent kitchen with very good cooking facilities,also a decent gas barbecue and garden furniture .Beds were large and comfortable and bathrooms clean with very nice showers and one beautiful bath. Friendly,accommodating host,provided us with delicious fresh eggs from the farm chickens. Very happy with this location and would not hesitate to recommend it. |
