Heightley House holiday cottage in Treknow is a 3 bedroomed holiday house that sleeps 6 people with great views towards Trebarwith Strand beach and is a dog and child friendly holiday cottage that has one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms.

Heightley House is ideal for a family looking for a beach based holiday home on the North Cornish coast with a garden and wifi broadband. Heightley House is on three levels, with 13 steps from the lane up to the front door and a long enclosed rear garden (table/chairs) on various levels with a gate at the top leading to a back lane and parking. Inside, homely and comfortable.

From front garden, door to hall; living room with open fire, TV/DVD, iPod dock and great views; big fitted kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, fridge-freezer) with original Delabole slate floor; back porch leading to loo and door with a few steps up to the garden. From hall, stairs (stairgates) up to two bedrooms including a double (5' bed) with great views including glimpse of sea, and a twin; bathroom (suite, shower over bath).

More stairs up to second floor and another twin bedroom with great views and TV. A few hundred yards down the lane, a good food pub/restaurant (remember torch!). Not suitable for people with limited mobility. A charming house, popular with families and well placed for beach, walking and exploring north Cornwall.

Cottage Review:   We booked this house specifically because it stated it had two bathrooms. It does not. It has one bathroom and a seperate wc situated at the very back of the house in what appears to be in a makeshift lean to area with no heating.( with a seethrough perspex roof.) We feel very much misled with this description which still persists. On our return home we contacted Sykes cottages to explain they are mis representing this house as it has only one bathroom. We asked them to amend their details and they refused , see above it still states two bathrooms. In our d

Cottage Review:   We have had a lovely week at hightly house. The house is very well equipped throughout. Having three children having a wash and tumble dryer has been most useful! The views down into Trabawith Strand are beautiful. Would really recommend this holiday home. I’m sure we will be back
