Heatherdale in Treknow is a Victorian house in a row of four, with terrific views down the Trebarwith Strand beach valley through its big bay windows.

Heatherdale in Treknow is on three levels with 10 sloping steps from the lane up to the front door and a long, steep and enclosed garden with table and chairs and a bench on various levels with gate at the top leading to a back lane and parking. Inside, bright and welcoming with lovely touches of colour and interest from prints, pictures and well chosen furniture. From the steeply sloping, lawned front garden, step up to porch with plenty of space for boots and beach paraphernalia. Another step up to living room w ith a woodburner and TV with large bay window with valley view and sea glimpses. Smartly fitted, L-shaped kitchen/dining room with slimline dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and a cooker with induction hob. Back door to garden, outhouse (washing machine, tumble drier, storage for surfboards). Steep stairs from living room up to a very pretty double bedroom (5' bed) with bay window and lovely rural views seaward. Bathroom (suite, shower over bath). Further narrow and steep stairs up to a large bright bedroom under the eaves with three single beds, TV/DVD and good views. A very friendly, comfortable all-year round family house (not suitable for people with limited mobility due to access).

Cottage Review:   Stayed in early September 2015. We have stayed in a number of cottages around england and this one was by far the best. Very well equipped and comfortable, we really enjoyed ourselves here. Also, the location can't be beat, being a short walk (15 mins) down to Trebarwtih Strand, where we spent quite a few days body boarding. Would definitely recommend.
