| Cottage Review:
From start to finish - the most perfect break in the Yorkshire Dales. Before we even arrived we were provided with everything we needed to know through a welcome video. Upon arrival Lisa the host met us by the hut with the warmest smile. Trust me when I say, this beautiful lady has thought of everything. There were fresh roses, bread, butter, jam and milk in the hut as well as an array of coffee and tea bags. But most importantly a bottle of prosecco chilling in an ice bucket alongside two local chocolate treats. Books to read (I read my first book in two evenings for a long time) and games to play - just every opportunity to disconnect from our busy lives and reconnect with each other in the most stunning surroundings. Views of rolling hills during the day and twinkling lights in the evening. Lisa even heated the hot tub up for us and kept an eye on it whilst we did our first climb - Wernside. I particularly loved the seating area and window in the shed where the hot tub was situatiated. I could feel the stress of life leave my body as I sat there looking out at the views, sat in a robe Lisa provided, listening to my indie soundtracks on the speaker she provided and sipping on fizz and wine. The privacy was everything. I could go on and on and for those who have the opportunity to visit this amazing place in Yorkshire, after reading this, you will know exactly what I mean. Every possible detail was thought of, gosh have they got this right in every aspect. Thank you for a well needed break and perfection! |
