Description of the holiday cottage
This spacious cottage has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. It is over 300 years old and formerly one of Tideswell's many inns. You will find exposed beams, a range cooker and an open fire, alongside twenty first century 'boutique touches'. Spectacular walks from your doorstep, great cycling and all that Tideswell has to offer with its pubs, cafes and independent stores. We are located close to the Centre of Tideswell with free parking on the streets immediately adjacent to the cottage. The inside consists of an open plan living room , kitchen and dining room, which combined to create a contemporary, atmospheric space suiting both families and a group wanting to socialise together. Did we mention we are happy to accept dogs!Best Features

| Cottage Review:
Perfect Location Had the most fabulous stay at Granby cottage. The location is perfect with both walks and facilities on your doorstep. We did some of the walks Nicky sent us and so useful to have maps and directions. Lovely little quaint cafes and pubs when we didn’t want to cook, but also food shops to stock up on food and wine. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you need - smart TV, towels for the dogs muddy paws and logs for the fire. Will definitely be back for another visit |

Beautifully renovated cottage In the centre of Tideswell, close to the friendly pubs, shops and of course Elliotts Fish & Chips (the best) and still just minutes walk from the rolling and breathtaking Derbyshire countryside. Granby Cottage is a beautifully renovated, warm and spacious home-from-home, with an impressive open plan kitchen and lovely bathroom. We had a fantastic weekend here and will be back! This cottage is a real find The cottage and location is a real find, it is a perfect location when you want to get away from everything, lots of wonderful walks and cycling options to see the Peak District. The cottage is situated in a quaint ancient village which is very picturesque, with all you need close by. There are some fantastic local pub options with traditional food and beer within walking distance. It is amazing how spacious the cottage is once inside, offering an open plan type kitchen space and for the evening a cosy open log fire. Throughout is very well decorated and very clean. The bed was extremely comfy and the best nights sleep I had had in ages. I thoroughly recommend this cottage, you will not be disappointed and I will be booking again. |
