Gilcar Farm is located in beautiful rural surroundings in Emley near Huddersfield and has three holiday cottages that combine period features with state-of-the-art facilities. They have been converted from disused farm buildings into luxury holiday accommodation, with two of them fitted out to provide easy access for people with disabilities. Stay with us and you will have lots of options for country walks and bike rides, as well as have a base within travelling distance of Yorkshire’s finest attractions, such as the National Mining Museum, Hepworth Gallery and Yorkshire Sculpture Park.Best Features
The Blacksmiths Shop, which can sleep up to seven people in its four bedrooms, is packed with character.
Its open-plan lounge / kitchen area has a York stone flagged floor and a wood burning stove, along with a cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
The holiday cottage has level access, doorways wide enough for wheelchairs and a ground floor bedroom with an adjoining wet room kitted out with a Doc-M pack.
