| Cottage Review:
We booked a weekend here for my husbands 70th birthday with our grown up children and partners. The cottage was easy to find and situated in a lovely Cotswolds village. It was spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was fairly well equipped for cooking and easy to work and socialise in. The log burner was great but be prepared to take logs with you as there were only 2 there and we struggled to buy some - but thanks to the local managing team we did find them. The only downsides were the steepness of the staircases, the very low beams and the door handles as every time you went in or out of any room the rest of the house heard. So it was late nights and early mornings all round, especially if someone got up in the night to go to the bathroom. There were also some headaches from the men who continually forgot the low beams! That said we all had a wonderful time and would all stay here again. |
