| Cottage Review:
Stayed at Evenlode for the week while my wife was in the area with work, what a gorgeous cozy cottage this is . Based in the beautiful village of Stow on the wold the cottage covers three floors. The ground floor has a single room which it the kitchen , perfectly laid out with all mod cons . On the 2nd floor your greeted with the living room and the main shower room/ toilet, again well laid out . The 3rd floor is a lovely spacious bedroom with ensuite. Each room has its own thermostat so you can independently control the climate of each rooms underfloor heating. Each room has its own wall mounted smart TV but I did have to use my phone as a personal hotspot for the bedroom TV as the Wi-Fi signal was not strong enough to reach but it was not to much of an issue . The Village it's self is right on your door step so you don't even need your car, which can be parked in your own designated off road parking spot in the main courtyard . Stow while small has everything you need. I even stopped in at the local barbers to a trim. The coffee shop there is amazing with plenty of choice , the café Bombon is a must in my opinion. All the locals are very friendly and hope my wife has to return again in the future as I will be tagging along once more . Great cottage on a great Village. |
