Description of the holiday cottage
On one level, Derwent is a tastefully renovated holiday cottage that is ideal for families or sets of couples. The entrance is into the kitchen, dining area that leads to the lounge with magnificent views over the local countryside. Exposed beams add to the character of the cottage. A spacious hallway leads to a double, twin and single bed room all with views over the countryside. A large bathroom includes a bath with thermostatic shower, pedestal washbasin and WC. The three bedrooms enable larger families to be accommodated or for smaller families and couples to have additional space. The comfortable furnishings and magnificent views from the lounge help you relax and add to the enjoyment of your holiday. The semi open plan kitchen enables meals to be easily prepared in an informal atmosphere enabling the cook to be part of family activities. Outside there is ample room for sitting and soaking up the courtyard atmosphere of Bolehill.Best Features
We are no longer a farm (although we still have cattle grazing in our meadows in summer and sheep in the winter) and now provide a variety of self catering cottages set in a courtyard surrounded by spectacular views over open fields and the rolling Peak District countryside yet only two miles from Bakewell.
Large garden area with seating etc. Peaceful rural location. Leisure area (sauna, table tennis, pool table etc). Chatsworth & Haddon Hall nearby. 20 acres of grounds. Ample secure car parking. Well behaved pets welcome. Internet connection in all cottages.
