Dairy Cottage at Moorgate farm is near to the fantastic and historic town of Bodmin in North Cornwall. This gorgeous barn conversion has a wealth of character and is single storey making it ideal for famil, ies with young children and those that want to avoid stairs. There is a pretty lounge with a feature fireplace on a stone wall, very Cornish and sets the tone for this elegant holiday cottage. Dairy Cottage has beautiful gardens and is surrounded by fantastic rural countryside, quiet fields and nature abounds. The location is fantastic if you want to explore, days out at a range of beaches or take the ferry from Rock to Padstow, a perfect location for a Cornish adventure.

Cottage Review:

The cottage is located with a few miles of Bodmin and the A30 so getting around is very easy. Bodmin is well catered for with supermarkets and a newly built very nice cinema. If you like national trust places there are several around, and slighly further afield. We enjoyed an afternoon at the local light plane airport watching the planes comimg in and having lunch at the cafe there.

As for the cottage itself its well laid out with all you need and a lovely wood burner for those cold eveniings, and logs are supplied I beleive at a small charge if you use pr

Cottage Review:

We spent a week at Dairy cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Spacious, clean with everything you could need for a week or so away

Owners Mike & Jan were very welcoming and friendly and we were welcomed with scones, jam and clotted cream which were delicious also very thoughtfully a bottle of milk and a bottle of Prosecco, very nice after a long journey.

Great location for visiting many parts of this area

We would certainly return should we visit this part of Cornwall again.
