| Cottage Review:
Listing just a few of the problems: Gas hob ignition unit not working. Had to light with matches. Not even a proper gas lighter provided. Smoke alarm had been removed with just the fixing plate left on the ceiling. Stair carpet not fitted properly and was a significant trip hazard. Sofa legs collapsed on first evening. Had clearly previously been broken out of their fittings and somebody had tried to push them back with a bodged repair, only for it to fail for the next unsuspecting guest. Lovely holiday let we have stayed hear on many occasions....well equiped....tastefully furnised. ...car parking available and central location....would recommend |

The cottage is ideal for families, and it is well furnished and decorated in all rooms, but on arrival we found that in the kitchen the cooker was unsuitable for use by its not having been thoroughly cleaned out, the fridge had fungus in it, the floor was dirty and sticky. All bathrooms were in need of a good clean particularly behind the washbasin and w.c. and fungus was visible in both bathrooms. After complaining to the owner a cleaner arrived and carried out the necessary cleaning to the cooker etc, and the bathrooms. It is a shame that the cottage was |
