Welsh holiday house close to Harbour Holiday House Wales - new cosy cottage with a wood burning stove in the sitting room - lovely for snug, romantic evenings. In a quiet lane just off the quaint old harbour of Lower Town, the cottage has been equipped with great care and furnished to a high standard in a welcoming modern style - wooden floors, comfortable furniture and bedrooms with exceptionally pretty bed linen. The cottage is separated from its neighbour by an archway opening into a shared courtyard with steps leading to its own paved terrace - a lovely place for al-fresco eating. Fishguard and Gwaun Valley Lower Town, with its sheltered harbour where the Gwaun River flows into the sea, is ideal for boating enthusiasts and was the setting for the filming of - Moby Dick' and Dylan Thomas' s - Under Milk Wood' . The ancient Ship Inn, a short stroll away from the cottage, was a favourite with Richard Burton during filming and is popular with locals and holidaymakers alike, particularly the weekly quiz!Sleeps: from 0 to 8
