Description of the self catering
the Lynher River estuary is one of the most peaceful in the West Country, its creeks, coves and mudflats ideal hiding/nesting places for wading and sea birds. 50 yards from the river and 1/3 mile from Antony village, beside a little creek, is this extremely good conversion of a detached barn, a magnificent example of how such things should be done. It is 'upside down' and has the most glorious views along the Lynher River. A huge lawn at the back with decked verandah, table and chairs provides wonderful opportunities for all kinds of ball games or just lazing.

A wonderful week spent in this lovely barn conversion. Situated in a very peaceful, tranquil spot it was relaxing to simply sit in the lounge and look at the beautiful views outside. The kids had a fab time playing in the huge garden and wading in the river (and mud!) Would definately love to visit here again. |
