Description of the self catering
Chesil View Apartment is a recently renovated high specification two bedroom second and third floor apartment with unrivalled panoramic sea views from the bay window in the living room of Chesil beach stretching from Portland to Lyme Regis. Having a new kitchen and bathrooms, with the most up to date designs and appliances adds a touch of contemporary luxury inside. A clean and cool palette of colours in used the master bedroom which again has lovely views from the Velux windows. Portland is enjoyed by numerous water sports enthusiasts due to its favourable waters, thought to be some of the best in Europe; the National Sailing Academy is also close by. Walking is a popular pursuit on Portland and it is possible to follow the coastal path all the way around the island taking in sights of the old stone quarries from which masterpieces such as St.Paul's Cathedral have been built. You may wish to stop at the famous Portland Bill lighthouse and Pulpit Inn for refreshments at the top of the island before returning to Chesil View. Situated in Fortuneswell, Chesil View is well served with local shops, pubs and restaurants nearby and makes a convenient and stylish base for a holiday.Sleeps: 4
