| Cottage Review:
Cellar cottage is a hidden gem in the heart of the village of Mevagissey, situated within the Cellar bar, the only pub with outside space. We were lucky enough to be the first guests and wow!! what a experience. Jackie has transformed a rundown eyesore into a beautiful, modern three floor town house. Well equipped kitchen with air fryer, electric frying pan, microwave etc.. There is no hob or oven( not that we needed them) . The bathroom through small, has a large shower and is well decorated . The bed is huge and the linens were lovely .The artwork is beautiful and from local artists. It is double glazed and there is some noise from the bar which is to be expected, we found the newborn seagulls on a nearby roof to be noisier. There is no private outside space, though you can eat breakfast there as the pub doesn't open until 12pm and closes at 11pm, it is not open 24 hours as stated on some web sites. We were made so welcome by Jackie, her family, staff and the locals whom we spent entertaining evenings with. Definitely recommend and will return if we can get booked, Cellar cottage is going to be a big hit. Well done Jackie you are on to a winner. , |
