Cottage Review:

The cottage was very nice, with a great kitchen. Sadly the washing machine was broke when we arrived, the handy man said this had happened several times before. We had two lots of machine water all across the floor. We used our own towels and spent an hour and a half cleaning up. No thanks form the owners and no offer of taking our wet washing to the launderette until after we got home. By which time it was too late to get the receipts. There was no offer of any compensation, we didn't want much.. Just to know they cared and to understand it from our point of view. We left the cottage spotless and felt a small refund would have gone someway to make up for not having a washing machine. We appreciated they couldn't get a new machine before we left. Not going to go on any more! Just not the relaxing holiday we had looked forward to after a very sad time.

Most disgusting house I have ever stayed in after 33 years of visiting Saundersfoot!!!! The house was dirty on arrival, there was smell that hit you as soon as you walked in and on inspection the toilet cistern had black grime running from it, everywhere felt sticky and grubby. The skirting boards were covered in thick black dust don't think they had been cleaned ever! The outside area littered with cigarettes VILE!!! The table cloth even had remnants of the previous occupiers breakfast on it. The knife and fork draw was filthy. We knew instantly we needed

Captiva Cottage is situated in a fantastic location with easy access to shops restaurants, fish & chips, coffee shops, the beach and most importantly for me access to the coastal path where I spent many hours walking and enjoying the scenic views along the pathways.

Although the weather was a little cold and windy as long as you were dressed up warmly nothing could stop the enjoyment and re-energising feeling of walking along the Pembroke Coast.

The Cottage was very warm and welcoming with all the kitchen utensils you could possibly ever need ! In fact the

Just got home from a week in Captiva Cottage. Only ten minutes from the beach and shops, so ideal for a young family.

Suggest you don't attempt the steps to the garden unless your fit, and have good balance as the 19 steps on the staircase are narrow and quite steep.

The main downside to the property, in my opinion, was that, with three young children in the party, there were sometimes problems if the toilet and shower were required at the same time. so not enough bathrooms for eight people, hence 4 stars and not five.

Another observation was the amount
