Cottage Review:

I stayed for a long weekend and was very impressed with the attention to detail at the cottage. It is very well appointed, with quality fixtures and fittings. Well located for travel around the Cotswolds, with a couple of pubs providing great food. If you wanted to stay in and cook the kitchen has everything you need.

Bedrooms on small side but big enough for 2 couples to stay comfortably and the beds were very comfortable.

Very clean and contact with the owner beforehand was easy and he was a pleasure to deal with.

Will definitely book again

Lovely little cottage, very well equipped and comfortable (apart from the green sofa!) We all had a lovely time and felt very chilled out here. The log fire was lovely but we couldn't find anywhere to get more logs within walking distance. (we arrived with plenty from home so kept us going!) . Beds were comfortable, cottage was clean (lots of spiders but it's an old place there will be!) and kitchen had everything you will need. It does state no pets but some of the reviews were from people who stayed with a dog? This does need to be clear (allergies) . Generally a lovely place and we will hopefully return! We took out own DVD player but only because my daughter had some new DVD's to watch & there wasn't a player. The little garden was lovely, my daughter took to the little wooden man on the fence but on our last morning she noticed he had fallen down - so if the owner reads this save the little man! Also great communication with the owner before hand. Great place, we will return!

Cottage Review:

The cottage is set in a lovely quaint village in the Cotswolds, very close to lots of great places to visit- Broadway is just down the road, as it Chipping Campden. Cottage is 4 miles from the train station in Honeybourne.

Highly recommend The Bell Inn pub in the village for a Sunday roast.

Cottage from the outside is very pretty. There is private off road parking for one car and the neighbours are friendly.

Kitchen is well equipped and the welcome pack provided was very much appreciated, along with the instructors on how to use everything.

The front room has a log burner (although it was too warm to use this but nice to look at). There is Now TV in the main room and also a radio. Wifi signal was excellent. There was an old humidifier in the front room which looked like it hadn?t been emptied for some time!

Bedrooms are small with low door frames and bathroom has a nice LED mirror and bath.

We had waited six months to go on our holiday which we had saved very hard for, we had read reviews before we booked and all commented on how clean the cottage was. Unfortunately we didn?t experience this, there were cobwebs in lots of areas of the cottage (we even hoovered it ourselves to try and get rid of them), the bedrooms were dusty and overall we felt that this needed a deep clean and we checked out a night earlier due to a combination of the amount of spiders in the cottage, cleanliness, really uncomfortable sofas (one was being replaced after we left) and the TV was intermittently working due to the TV signal. We have fed this back to the owner, so hopefully this will get better, we left feeling really disappointed.

We enjoyed a wonderful two week holiday in this charming Cotswold cottage, which is full of character! The accommodation provided an extremely well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bedding and was spotlessly clean. The owner, Alan, was very friendly and provided fantastic service to us. The location of the cottage is superb for touring the Cotswolds and is located across the road from a lovely pub. This cottage is highly recommended for a special experience in a stunning part of England.

We were lucky to be able to find this cottage as a last minute booking for a break in the beautiful Cotswolds. The cottage is well located only a short distance from Broadway but has the charm of being located in a quiet village with plenty of Cotswold atmosphere.

The cottage has a lovely front garden and a courtyard garden at the rear of the property. We were lucky with the weather and spent our evenings in the peaceful courtyard relaxing with a bottle or two of wine after a hectic day of visiting the local attractions.

The cottage is very tastefully decorated with a mixture of modern facilities mixed with the charm of a traditional Cotswold cottage. All in all we had a very relaxing time.

Cottage Review:

Booked to celebrate 35th wedding anniversary with husband, son & fiancée. Blessed with beautiful weather so had bbq in back garden on first evening from 8.30- 11.30 pm. Had background music on which next door neighbour took exception to by spraying hose directly at fence, surprising us- a bit taken aback!

Following day, Saturday mid afternoon we returned from lovely browse round Broadway. Set up bbq again with quiet background music. Neighbour burst through gate shouting ? not again!? We were totally shocked, never had to face anyone so angry & aggressive- his wife had to pull him back into his own garden. Moved a plant pot in front of gate to stop him invading our privacy. He heard this (?!) & burst through again shouting! Shocking.

I said we would move to front garden as he clearly didn?t want to hear any movement & asked him to stop charging into our space so aggressively or I would call the police. He said he had full right of way through our garden which shocked me as we had back door open & had assumed this was our private space.

I was literally shaking & phoned the owner. He appeared to understand & when I said we may have to leave early he said he would agree a partial refund. He would phone neighbours to hear ?their side of story? ?!

We did leave a night early. Anniversary ruined- we can never get that day back.

Emailed owner who stated ?there shall be no refund?. The actions of the neighbour had nothing to do with him- yet in earlier emails he said the neighbour helped with garden for previous 4-6 years & no previous issues? Apparently, it states there is a right of way through garden in cottage small print.

We are not ravers. We are a middle aged couple who were hoping to spend quality time with our family. Other neighbours all lovely & apologised to us for noise of their children!

This is the only redress I have as owner totally backtracked on verbal promise & will not communicate further.

Badly let down- please avoid, there are plenty of other places that will give you a warm welcome.

Almost a last minute decision we stumbled upon Campion Cottage. We had a perfect break. The cottage is warm, cosy and immaculately decorated throughout. Comfortable beds with the perfect combination of hard and soft pillows. Everything was perfect.....even down to the snow falling on Saturday morning. A truly 5*+ cottage in a charming village. Cannot wait to revisit.

Cottage Review:

For people looking to experience the impossibly beautiful villages and countryside of the Cotswolds, Campion Cottage is the perfect place to make a base. The cottage itself is roomy, beautifully decorated and well equipped for self-catering. Located in the small and pretty village of Willersey, it has on and off-site parking and a lovely outside courtyard for when the sun is shining. It is very close to the villages of Broadway and Chipping Campden, which are regarded as two of the most appealing villages in the Cotswolds. There are fantastic walks in the ar
