| Cottage Review:
The accomodation was clean, well presented & well equipped. Although we did not use the hob & oven the kitchen had everything we needed, including cleaning products and bin bags. It was very useful to have various having USB charging points around the accomodation. If you have dogs please note that the flooring is hard surface flooring & can be slippery for them. Also note the description of the bedrooms as the sloping ceilings impact on freely moving around. That said, you can see from the pictures the space available and is quite workable. The bed and mattress was very comfortable as were the settees. The grounds are beautiful and have numerous options for seating or lounging. We discovered one nearby walk for the dogs in a beautiful meadow just up the lane. We found the Lodge to be in a good location for various trips out and about. We discovered good restaurants, The Inn at Welland(booking essential), The Swan & The Railway Inn, these were across the board for prices and all good quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and recommend it. John & Helena Wannell. |
