Description of the self catering
The Holiday Cottage Comfortable holiday home with rural views in a quiet, sleepy hamlet. This welcoming house has views over the village green to the front and open countryside towards Mathry and towards the coast from the rear. Castlemorris is a sleepy rural hamlet with a friendly pub - - Gwesty Bach' 2 mins walk away and from the village green a circular walk meanders through the pretty surrounding countryside. North Pembrokeshire Llangloffan Fen (a National Nature Reserve) is ½ mile away and is one of the best examples of fen in Wales. Accessed via a raised circular board walk (approx 1km) there are rare plants, the scarlet tiger moth, lots of breeding wetland birds including Cetti' s warbler, tree sparrow, redpoll and in the winter, water rail, snipe and hen harrier, otters and water vole, so do please keep dogs on leads! Lots of places to eat and drink nearby - Tides, a restaurant specialising in dishes using local fish and meat, is less than a mile away. Mathry a sleepy hilltop village, has The Farmers Arms, a pub serving bar food and Stephanie' s Tea Room (all day breakfasts and delicious home made cakes). There is also Siop Fach (woodturner' s workshop), Post Office & General StoreSleeps: 5
