The Cottage was very comfortable with everything in that we needed. It had had great parking and a lovely big garden for the children to use. We had a fab holiday and found the cottage very well situated for the area we wished to explore. |

A lovely house, one of the very best we have ever stayed in. In a good location and very quiet; an excellent base for exploring, walking, site seeing and near to fantastic beaches. Edinburgh easily reachable by local train station. We have had a fantastic week, many thanks. |

Brian's Cottage was perfect for our needs. We found it to be well appointed without fripperies. Particularly the lounge seating was comfortable and well suited to the four of us watching TV. The fire was welcome and easy to light, so a pleasure. The little extras were very welcome especially towel rails. Everything WORKED and did its job so it was easy to be on holiday there. The position of cottages is ideal, it's so beautiful and so quiet, yet so handy for lots of routes and day trips. The 2 of us cycling loved having the cycle routes right at the 'gate'. |

comfortable house. fantastic access to a large enclosed garden made it perfect for us as we have young children. location great just 3 miles from the lovely beach at almouth and 3 miles or so from alnwick. We liked it so much we intend booking it again for Summer 2011! |
