A really well appointed cottage with fine views over the surrounding hills.All rooms were spotlessly clean and beds very comfy! From Hade edge it is about a 30 min walk into Holmfirth either along the main road or the footpath which begins directly behind the cottage.There are plenty of scenic walks and the owner has provided laminated local footpath maps which were very handy.Unfortunately the only pub in Hade Edge was closed due to refurb at the time of our visit,due to open later in the season.There are however plenty of great pubs and eateries in Holmfir |
