| Cottage Review:
It is ideally situated to explore the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains.There are some excellent walks that can be done from Beacons Rest. These start with a lovely riverside path which leads to the town of Brecon. My favourite was the ascent of Pen y Crug. The view from the summit of Brecon and the Pen y Fan range with half a dozen red kites and a couple of buzzards soaring overhead was marvellous. A walk description is in the apartment, although this can be considerably shortened by doing the walk direct from Brecon. Beacons Rest is very well equipped and |
