A fantastic cottage with beautiful views, we loved our week here. It was everthing we needed. We found Tideswell a great base to explore the area through the day. The village had some lovely caf?s and pubs ideal if your like us and don't want to cook on holiday. |

After 15 years of holidaying throughout the UK we have peaked in the Peak District with Barr Cottage! For our couple the set up was perfect : a very comfortable bedroom, a practical kitchen, a cosy fireplace corner to end the evenings and a gorgeous terrace above the cottage to wile away the end of the day with a glass of wine, kindly provided by the owners. This is the best cottage we have stayed in, both for the fittings and for the location, within walking distance of the family friendly George Inn (we went three times, including for some Shakespeare) and |
