Rebuilt stone-by-stone from a 17th Century stable, Fisherman’s cottage and a storehouse during the summer of 2010, Bank Top Cottage offers you a luxury self-catering holiday cottage with a million dollar view of the Northumberland Coast filled with mile after mile of sky, sand and sea. From the under floor heating to the wine cooler in the kitchen, the binoculars on the bookshelf to the Egyptian cotton sheets on the bed, Bank Top Cottage has been renovated and furnished with equisite attention to detail, giving you a luxurious self-catering base from which you can explore the beautiful county of Northumberland. The cottage is a non-smoking property and no pets are allowed. The bedroom in Bank Top Cottage has a king size bed fitted with Egyptian Cotton micro-fibre bedding. A wardrobe and two bedside cabinets give you storage for your clothes and holiday reading while a 22″ television with remote control and Pure Chronos DAB/FM Stereo Clock Radio with an iPod and iPhone dock offer you the opportunity to keep in touch with the outside world or simply to relax with your favourite music or films. The attention to detail that makes Bank Top Cottage a holiday cottage with a difference includes sensor operated lighting in the hall and bathroom and a contemporary luxury shower and bath suite. With a built-in shaver socket, heated towel rail, two drawers for storage, a noiseless soft close toilet and a selection of Mason and Miller toiletries, the bathroom has been designed and built with luxury and your every comfort in mind. The fully equipped kitchen has fitted black gloss units complete with a built in Bosch cooker, ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and wine cooler. Beneath the reclaimed oak beamed ceiling of Bank Top Cottage a two-seater leather sofa and a comfortable armchair offer incredible views up and down the Northumberland coast. During the summer months the doors to the terrace overlooking the sea can be opened fully, bringing the outside in to the cottage. The lounge is equipped with flat screen television with built-in Freeview and FreeSat and a Blu-Ray DVD player. If you’re holidaying in the cottage during the winter months then the under-floor heating and remote controlled convection fire will ensure that you stay warm all year round. The cottage is wheelchair friendly, with an easy-access ramp leading up the main entrance and wide-fitted doorways throughout.
