Description of the holiday cottage
Apple Tree Cottage is a thatched terraced cottage retaining many of the original cottage features with roses around the door and soft overtones of the past. Situated in the heart of Burton Bradstock next to the village post office, with its thatched stone cottages and narrow twisting lanes, bright colourful English country gardens and a picturesque river walk. The cottage is an ideal location for country and coastal lovers. The local village tearooms invite you for a morning cup of coffee or a delicious cream tea. The village also has a Spar shop and choice of two pubs each serving good food and ales. Nearby Burton beach is an easy walk from the cottage and has wonderful cliff views and a highly commended beach cafe which serves a variety of food and drinks while you are enjoying the ambience. An outing to West bay, which is approximately 3 miles away gives you a chance to explore the colourful fishing harbour and to sample some of the locally caught crabs and lobsters. Haddon House is recommended for Sunday lunch.Best Features
