| Cottage Review:
Lovely ! Authentic cottage, restored in a contemporary & sympathetic style. Spotlessly clean with lovely welcome touches. Local shops, pubs, Post Office all in the village within easy reach. Great transport links with buses & trains to nearby Matlock, etc. Perfect base for some lovely Derbyshire walks, lots of maps at the cottage for you to peruse while enjoying the log burner ! |

We stayed for a long weekend 31/03/17 - 03-04/17 and what a beautiful little cottage for my surprise birthday present - the fella did good :) It had everything we needed and more. Super cosy, super clean and super surroundings. The little extra's of milk in the fridge and especially the dog bowls, treats and towels (thankfully the towels didn't get used as the weather was also super) we thought were great. Spent 2 nights in this gorgeous little cottage. It has everything you need and nothing you don't! Clean, cosy and comfortable, stoke up the wood burner and open the red wine! Highly recommended! |

Lovely little hideaway very sympathetically restored in the centre of Cromford, easy to access both Matlock and Matlock Bath and many places to explore further afield. The owners have carried out a really great renovation with some lovely quirky touches - the shower is to die for! The cottage has all the amenities a couple on a weekend or break would need, with some additional sympathetic touches such as chocolates on arrival. Would recommend lighting the log burner, getting tucked in for the evening with a bottle of wine and some fish and chips from Rowb |
