5 Tree Tops, Lanreath, Cornwall inc Scilly, PL13 2RW

Currently still have 2 days to go,but having been here in September last year there have been a few additions eg.outside lighting to facilitate easier transfer from the car up the numerous steps to the lodge.,and new curtains and rails inside and new carpet under the coffee table. All in all the lodge was lovely and clean znd due to its location Very Private and not overlooked. Plenty of crockery, but could do with a knife sharpeners and one of the frying pans is so .light it is dangerous ,as the weight of the handle in relation to the pan causes it to tilt over.There was an issue one which was solved immediately with a telephone call to reception who delivered an iron which was missing..I would have liked to see a rotary cloths line which could be set up if needed as does the parasol, so not a permenant fixture but could be used if prefered ( and an electric saver for the owner ).

Now my only criticism was the light inside the front door didn't work last year and it isn't working this year. Clock in the single bedroom has no battery. Toilet seat in the bathroom serving that bedroom looks clean until it is lifted and maybe is but doesn't look nice when risen. As for the towelling robes one in particular needs bining and as far as the house cleaning team is concerned as they put these on hangers to put in a wardrobe if they are doing their job correctly should instantly have noticed it was not fit for purpose and had it replaced. If this Lodge is privately owned it is unfair the owners should criticised over certain things which are out of their hands when the reliance is with a third party RE the robe.

Would I stay here again MOST DEFINATELY I will be back hopefully with a beautiful week of weather as we are having now AND I would recommend 5 TREETOPS.
