Description of the self catering property
about 1/4 mile from St Minver, one of a row of four pretty, whitewashed cottages surrounded by meadows off a very typical Cornish hedgerow lane. In front, a neat walled garden with bench to catch the evening sun, at the back an enclosed lawn garden (table/chairs, barbecue). Inside, comfortable and welcoming with a few beams and lumpy walls as a clue to its origins. Sunny little entrance porch through to beamed living room with open fire; kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave) with table/chairs and back porch to garden (5'5" lintel); bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). Steep stairs up to two bedrooms a double (5bed) with long rural views, and a twin with 2'6" beds (footboards).Sleeps: from 0 to 4

| Cottage Review: I was VERY dissapointed with this property, to the extent that I left 3 days early. The storage heater in the kitchen and bedroom did not appear to work. There was no heating in the second bedroom. The fridge was not cold which resulted in me throwing out ?30 of food after a few days. We actually left the property 3 days early as we were fed up of being cold. (I accept temperatures were low, but heating should have compensated). We have used helpful holidays on many occasions and were indeed looking for a feb break, however, this has very much soured our opinion. | |||||

| Cottage Review: Many welcoming touches eg groceries bought for us. Plentiful hot water. Cottage not cramped in any way. Very well equipped kitchen. Very peaceful. Excellent location for surfers. | |||||

| Cottage Review: Such a fabulous area. Daymer beach a beautiful family beach. A short cliff walk across to Polzeath, the surfers beach, or in the other direction to Rock { several lovely delis/bakeries} from where you can take the ferry to Padstow, and join in the crowds parading their dogs!! | |||||
