| Cottage Review:
No windows only sky lights, feels like a dungeon. On road parking is difficult as yellow lines at front and side of property as well as opposite. Smart TV's are not set up so can only watch live TV. Not in the centre of the action, its a very steep hill to the centre. Perfect romantic retreat? Not at all romantic, clean, modern almost clinical. Matlock is a great base to explore the peak district, but we found that we didn't want to spend anytime at the property, was a huge disappointment. |

Booked as a last minute getaway and couldn't be more delighted, particularly with the complimentary prosecco and luxury biscuits waiting for us on arrival! Lovely touch. The property is beautifully furnished and the kitchen fully equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The bed and bedding are good quality and wonderfully comfortable. The entire apartment is spotlessly clean. The attention to detail is outstanding. It is an ideal accommodation for 2 people wishing to explore the Derbyshire Dales. We would definitely recommend this property. Thank you. |
